Join us at the eco-adventure resort Costanoa, and “retreat from the chaos of everyday life.”
Our local docents will lead hikes along the spectacular San Mateo coast and sections of the California Coastal Trail. With expansive seascapes and uncluttered mountain vistas, the San Mateo coast is worlds away from the neighboring megalopolis of Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Long-noted for Año Nuevo State Park Reserve, the largest mainland colony of northern elephant seals, Pescadero Marsh and the Pigeon Point Lighthouse, this pastoral coastline includes lovely farms, striking geological features and evidence of the early Ohlone and Spanish inhabitants.
Pack your hiking boots and an appetite for the great outdoors, indulge in a little pampering amidst Costanoa’s simple elegance, and enjoy the camaraderie with fellow Coastwalkers.
